The Idea: Teams want to compete at a high level throughout the summer. Practicing and going to tournaments is not enough.
The Solution: The Lax Launch is designed to give teams the opportunity to both practice and play against similar teams. Teams at the Lax Launch will get 2 full practice sessions with their coaches, along with classroom time for "chalk talks" while also playing in full field, 10 on 10 regulation games. All this in a relaxed atmosphere that doesn't simply involve running from field to field just to play a shortened game.

The Schedule:
Friday, June 10, 2011 Teams Arrive on Campus and check into their rooms. (overnight) Every Team gets 1 hour practice on the field. (not done at other team camps) Every Team gets 1 hour classroom session with their coaches. (not done at other team camps) Dinner served for all teams (overnight only)
Saturday, June 11, 2011 Breakfast for overnight teams. All Teams play opening game. After First game, all teams get 1 hour practice on the field. (not done at other team camps) Lunch for overnight teams. All Teams play 2 more games spread out throughout the day/evening. Dinner for overnight teams Classroom session for all Teams in evening (not done at other team camps) Recruiting talk for all Teams in Auditorium. (not done at other team camps)
Sunday, June 12, 2011 Breakfast for overnight teams. All Teams play remaining 3 games. (not done at other team camps) Teams depart for home ready to compete for the rest of the summer!
*Note - There is no championship at the Lax Launch. Players are not playing for a summer championship, they are playing to get better as individuals and as a team*

Fee Information:
Overnight Campers (dorm) $310.00 Per Player (17 Minimum players - no maximum) Includes all meals, lodging and practice/game sessions
Day Campers $250.00 Per Player (17 Minimum players - no maximum) No meals, includes all practice and game sessions
Registration Information:
Teams must consist of a minimum of 17 players. There is no maximum limit. A Deposit of $310.00 is due to register entire team and reserve team slot for the Lax Launch. Payment is due in full with the team roster. ($310.00 x number of players on roster) The Deposit of $310.00 will be returned when full payment for team is received. Team rosters must be submitted by May 15, 2011. Payment is by check. Multiple checks are allowed as long as they are sent together.

Once rosters are received, a confirmation note with health forms, arrival information and schedules will be mailed to coaches.

Inclement Weather Policy:
The directors of the Summer Lax Launch reserve the right to cancel, shorten or re-schedule games due to inclement weather, poor field conditions or player and fan safety issues. No refunds will be given should such actions be required.
