VIRGINIA GOALIE SCHOOL The Goalie School returns to Virginia for the 18th Summer. NEW YORK GOALIE SCHOOL The 15th year for our Northern edition of Goalie School now held at Milbrook School, located in Duchess County, makes an ideal setting for the most popular goalie camp in the country. This location is very convenient to campers from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey.  This camp is usually the first to fill up in the summer! OHIO GOALIE SCHOOL Due to Goalie Demand, Coach Pilat opened up another session of Goalie School in the Midwest 3 years ago.  Baldwin Wallace College offers outstanding facilities, air conditioned dorms and is located just south of Cleveland, Ohio.  Two full grass fields and an astroturf stadium await our campers in Ohio.  Campers can easily drive to Ohio from Michigan, Western Pennsylvania and other western states.  This camp has been full with over 100 goalies the past two summers and will be full again! FLORIDA GOALIE SCHOOL Because Goalies demand instruction just prior to their season in the Spring, Coach Pilat's December Camp in Florida has been filled for the past 10 winters.  Located in beautiful, warm Delray Beach Florida, campers will be housed at the famous "Bucky Dent baseball School" where lacrosse takes over for the week! GIRLS GOALIE SCHOOL Coach Pilat has been asked by many womens coaches and goalies to have a goalie school for girls only.  Because of demand, a special "Goalie School for Girls" has been held the past 3 summers in Virginia.  Once again, with the help of former University of Maryland Goalkeeper, Mary Schwartz, Coach Pilat will offer this popular option for aspiring female goaltenders.  Sign up early!! Individual analysis, extensive videotaping of each goalie and new methods of teaching techniques and footwork are all elements of the Goalie School. As of June 1, any goalie who desires to switch sessions must pay a $50.00 transfer fee.  Once a session is full, no goalies will be allowed to transfer into that session. All goalies will receive top coaching from Coach Pilat and his carefully selected staff.  One of the most popular stations at camp is the "Rapid Fire" station.  Here goalies get to test their reflexes against a very accurate and hard shooting tennis ball machine.  *New in 2008*  Two shooting machines are better than one!!  There will be two shooting machines to give goalies twice the amount of shots as last year!! Other stations work on such techniques as keeping your head over the ball with coach Pilat's famous "handcuff drill".  Clearing and stickhandling stations allow goalies time to work on their stick skills in a variety of ways.  Shot stopping form is analyzed and steps are taken to correct flaws in goalies mechanical techniques in the goal.  New This Year ! Coach Pilat will introduce his new "mirror training" to lacrosse goaltenders.  This technique has been used by NHL Goalies for several years and will now be made available to all goalies at THE GOALIE SCHOOL!!  Come try all the new techniques at the only goalie camp to offer this new training tool. Play in Goalie Games! Exciting Goalie Games ! All Goalies will get to play in exciting 4 on 4 half field goalie games and also 10 on 10 regulation games.  The goalies use their goalie sticks to work on stickwork while learning how to play all positions on the field.  These fun games are usually held in the evenings, once all instruction has been finished for the day.  Goalies are encouraged to bring elbow pads to wear in the games.
