VIRGINIA GOALIE SCHOOL

The Goalie School returns to Virginia for the 20thSummer. Last Summer, 125 goalies were admitted for each week.  Because of the success of last Summer, Coach Pilat anticipates all sessions will once again be full this Summer. This camp is easily accessible to goalies from Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Maryland and Pennsylvanie.  Make no mistake, goalies demand and get the best Goalie Camp in All of Lacrosse at THE GOALIE SCHOOL!

NEW YORK GOALIE SCHOOL

The 17th year for our Northern edition of Goalie School now held at Milbrook School, located in Duchess County, makes an ideal setting for the most popular goalie camp in the country. This location is very convenient to campers from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New York and New Jersey.  This camp is usually the first to fill up in the summer!

OHIO GOALIE SCHOOL

Due to Goalie Demand, Coach Pilat opened up another session of Goalie School in the Midwest 6 years ago.  Western Reserve Academy, in Hudson, Ohio, offers outstanding facilities, air conditioned dorms and is located just south of Cleveland.  Two full grass fields and an astroturf stadium await our campers in Ohio.  Campers can easily drive to Ohio from Michigan, Western Pennsylvania and other western states.  This camp has been full with over 100 goalies the past three summers and will be full again!

FLORIDA GOALIE SCHOOL

Because Goalies demand instruction just prior to their season in the Spring, Coach Pilat's December Camp in Florida has been filled for the past 12 winters.  Located in the beautiful, Vero Beach Sports Village,  Florida, campers will be able to get on tremendous grass fields and get ready for their Spring season!

GIRLS GOALIE SCHOOL

Coach Pilat has been asked by many womens coaches and goalies to have a goalie school for girls only.  Because of demand, a special "Goalie School for Girls" has been held the past 6 summers in Virginia.  Once again, with the help of former University of Maryland Goalkeeper, Mary Schwartz, Coach Pilat will offer this popular option for aspiring female goaltenders.  Sign up early!!

Curriculum and Fees for 2013
Once again, Coach Pilat has put together the most innovative curriculum for goalies wishing to improve their skills. Individual analysis, extensive videotaping of each goalie and new methods of teaching techniques and footwork are all elements of the Goalie School.

Coach Pilat's program in Virginia, Ohio and New York include 5 days of intense instruction and video analysis to improve goalie performance - $720.00

This Goalie School program includes special one on one instruction and evaluation from Coach Pilat, programs with  a strength and agility coach,  fun and exciting goalie games, coaches talks and demonstrations and a great instructional staff to work with all goalies.

Coach Pilat and his staff will be filming each goalie who attends camp and providing all goalies with a personal url so they can watch their play on a computer.  Goalies can watch their techniques in the goal to learn and improve in the net!

Florida Goalie School fee is $695.00.

Another Goalie vs Rapid fire

Innovative Methods !

All goalies will receive top coaching from Coach Pilat and his carefully selected staff.  One of the most popular stations at camp is the "Rapid Fire" station.  Here goalies get to test their reflexes against a very accurate and hard shooting tennis ball machine.   There will be three shooting machines to give goalies triple the amount of shots as last year!!

Other stations work on such techniques as keeping your head over the ball with coach Pilat's famous "handcuff drill".  Clearing and stickhandling stations allow goalies time to work on their stick skills in a variety of ways.  Shot stopping form is analyzed and steps are taken to correct flaws in goalies mechanical techniques in the goal. 

Coach Pilat will introduce his new "mirror training" to lacrosse goaltenders.  This technique has been used by NHL Goalies for several years and will now be made available to all goalies at THE GOALIE SCHOOL!!  Come try all the new techniques at the only goalie camp to offer this new training tool.

New at 2013 Camps !

Starting this summer, all goalies will be filmed using brand new cameras with special SD Memory cards.  Using these cards, Coach Pilat will provide every goalie with their own personal url (web address).  Using this address, goalies can have access to their personal video of them getting shot on at camp.  The url will only be available to each individual goalie and it will become the goalies property to use as they wish in training or recruiting purposes.

Play in Goalie Games!

Exciting Goalie Games !

All Goalies will get to play in exciting 4 on 4 half field goalie games and also 10 on 10 regulation games.  The goalies use their goalie sticks to work on stickwork while learning how to play all positions on the field.  These fun games are usually held in the evenings, once all instruction has been finished for the day.  Goalies are encouraged to bring elbow pads to wear in the games.
